EMSA, an acronym for Emergency Medical Services Authority is a emergency medical training program initiative designed and implemented by the state of California. So if you are thinking about going for EMSA classes in the future, you will need to make sure that the classes you are joining have the approval of EMSA California. Another noteworthy point that needs to be kept in mind is that American Heart Association or AHA does not come under the EMS Authority of California, and therefore any child care training program that you are planning to enroll in should also comply with the EMSA standards as well.

This EMSA training program that you are planning to pursue would basically consist of 3 training modules. The first module would have 8 hours of First Aid training, the second module would involve 8 hours of CPR training, and the last and final module in this training program would consist of 8 hours of preventive Health and Safety Training.
